began selling tools from the trunk of a car, on a cold, blustery day in
March of 1987 in Troy, Ohio, just north of Dayton. Within a few months,
we had purchased the first of several step vans and we were "off to
the races". We began selling at various swap meets and
car/automobile shows. At these meets and shows, we would talk to many
customers about ideas for new products and product development. In fact,
several of our tools have been developed and created because of our
customers' ideas and input. (Thank you to our past, present and future
customers!) In
October of 1988, we opened our first
retail store located in the heart of Troy, Ohio. International sales,
marketing and extensive dealer networks began early in 1989. We launched
our website in January of 1997. TOOLS PLUS travels
most of the eastern USA to automotive and aircraft exhibition
shows as well as swap meets all year long. We pride ourselves in having
dealers in several states throughout the country as well as several foreign countries.
