BEAD ROLLER MAINTENANCE

Lube all Moving Parts

1. Grease threads of die depth adjustment crank
2. Remove keys from die shafts.
3. Deburr shafts with a file or sandpaper if needed.
4. Slide dies on shafts, they should slide on and off easily.
5. Remove dies from shafts.
6. Install keys into key slots of shafts.
7. Install dies over shaft and onto keys.
8. If dies do not slide over keys, remove keys and file keys until dies slide on and off easily.
9. Die alignment can be adjusted by loosening locking collars on lower shaft and sliding shaft in or out until male die is centered in female die.
10. Install turn wheel
11. Keep dies clean and oiled.
12. Avoid damage to working surface of dies, as this will leave marks in workplace.  

NOTE:  All dies will work with 20 gauge steel or aluminum.  Some dies will work with 18 gauge, and a few will work with 16 gauge but may require multiple passes.  Dies do NOT have to be adjusted to full depth.

TOOLS PLUS does NOT recommend using our electric drive on material thicker than 20 gauge.
