Foot Shear Warranty as of 2/08

Tools Plus warrants to the original retail purchaser for a period of one year. That our shears will be free of any defects in materials and workmanship. We will repair or replace at our option any defective parts.

This warranty DOES NOT apply to defects due directly or indirectly to misuse, abuse, negligence or accidents, normal wear and tear, repair or alterations outside of our shop.

For your warranty to be effective you must send us a copy of your invoice along with a photo of your machine after it is leveled and secured to the floor, at all four corners, with 5/8 inch or larger bolts. We must receive those photos with in 25 days of you receiving your shear. NO Photo, NO Warranty.

All foot shears that are not leveled and secured to the floor will stress crack along the weakest point. Also the blades will dull quicker. The center of the table is where MOST stress cracks are located. This happens because as the blades come in contact with the material, it is trying to cut, the shear lifts from the floor and shifts in an uneven manner. Which can cause the blades to bind, dull or chip. After continued use the table of the shear will crack.

Never try to cut material thicker than the shear is rated for. NO matter what the length of the material. All shears are rated for a certain material type and thickness. To get maximum useable life out of any equipment use the correct equipment for the job.
